Getting error message on HMRC vat management

I am having problems accessing my vat account on HMRC, I can log in o.k. but when i click on manage my vat account or check what payments you have made or make a payment i get the following message:

This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect.

Try:

  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall
I tried using a different browser, have disabled firewall etc. have been trying all weekend but just get the same message.

I need to urgently log on to set up a payment plan for the deferred vat from March 2020 1/4 as i believe there is only a short window to set up a payment plan otherwise the full amount needs to be paid by 31st March 2021. I think the cut off date is 18th March, so have a few days. Anyone else having this issue?

Quick update, I can now access and manage my vat account and successfully set up a payment plan to pay my deferred vat from last Mar - Jun quarter. If anyone else is having problems hopefully you can now log in and access too.
Good to hear.

It's not the first time they have done maintenance on or around the 7th of the month, which is a pain for last minute filers like me!
