Getting an app developed for free?

Hi,

Would you like an app developed for free?

Probably sounds too good to be true?

I am working with a group of trainee developers looking for a project for their portfolio.

They can build all sorts of things, front end to back.

You would need to commit to attending several meetings in London, providing whatever graphics would be required and be responsible for hosting any back end services.

The development time will be 2.5 months by 3 developers.

I welcome proposals.

Good luck with this. I have often thought about how people with no IT education or background could be trained up to a level that companies would consider them for entry-level roles. It sounds as if you are doing something similar.

Hi yes this would be of great benefit to me I am looking for an app to be developed for my company it’s quite a difficult one to do but if your students would be happy for the challenge I would gladly accept

What qualification are they studying?

They are attending a bootcamp to become a full stack developer, Javascript, Node/Express, React and so on.

They come from existing technical backgrounds and are cross training.

The hard part is finding good quality projects, where the app is likely to be successful and the client is prepared to supply graphics/designs and so on.

It’s a shame I didn’t meet you a few years ago. We were producing apps as a business and needed additional coding resources, where we were providing all the copy and visuals.
