Gaining more clients?

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know I run a Animal and House Sitting company. We have been up and running for nearly a year now and have quite a few regular clients. Kent and London and the surrounding areas.

We are at a few of the main shows in our area this year (Kent show and paws in the park)

Our summer bookings have been only really coming in the last couple of weeks, but we still have space free form more bookings.

Dose anyone know who I can get the business name out there?

We already have flyers, banners, business cards, car signs etc.

Thanks in advance.

if u have company facebook page which linked with Twiter, linkedin or other websites, as u have a event or business launch, u could create event time counting, the first signed customers could receive ur discourts(or sthelse), which is just example, u could come up with anything good ideas about the event, what kinda event u were asking depends on what do u want to interact with ur customers.

Thats a good idea. But I am not too sure how to do that. I do have a Facebook page and we have had a few enquires from that :)

I was think about organising a large event where people bring there dogs etc, I though this would give the company lots of exposure.

I think u have a great webpage, the only thing as a customer would say if the flyers, brochures not working verywell, u need to try sthelse, I really like ur page and style, i dont know why there are no likes on ur facebook page, at least ur customers age under 45 should visit ur website or facebook give a feedback, if its positive, it will influence alot to ur social impact, there are details i cant explain all, i would like to see a video of how ur service is speical, for what kinda customers they could experience their life being changed, and how convenient and securer ur service brought to them.

Little suggestion, u could hire a marketing or business college student to think about how to expand ur business as a project for their credits:) i dont know how it works in UK, but in Finland, there are plenty students willing to do practical work for that.

yah, u could, actually most marketing students, they know how to make a good video which attracts customers, because they study customer behavior, but students studying arts or media, im not sure, probably too i suppose, and im sure u would have to interview to gather the results. GoodLuck of finding one, but don't worry, i think ur business will grow up, if u are talkative, i think words of mouth can also help to increase ur business somehow:).

Hello

One option would be to mail, flyer or e-market to a list of all the Pet Owners in the geopgraphical area that you cover. Nothing fancy - just some plain and simple direct marketing. Something to consider testing.

I would also speak to associated industries - make sure you are friends and able to advertise within local vets, markets ( pet food stalls ) etc etc.

Anything direct marketing related - be happy to help. Details below.

Kind Regards

I was just reading through the comments and yes video is definitely the way to go! I've been helping local businesses with advertising and the one of the top ways to get more customers is with video! The video doesn't have to be very long; it just needs to show what business you run, contact info, and thats it!. And why does it work? well because video marketing is HUGE! That's why youtube is one of the top most visited websites out there. In fact 1 billion videos are watched daily (No kidding). So you can see it is huge... And the truth is, if you have a video you will definitely stand out from your competitors.. But the only tricky part of video marketing is you need to rank your video at the top of Google for particular keywords such as "Animal Housing + Your City" if you want to get customers. No use if you create a video and no one watches it.

Take Care
