Furnished Holiday Let - what tax expenses can be claimed?

Has anyone previously claimed back taxes for a furnished holiday let, or have a link to a list of things that could be claimed for?

Definitely talk to an accountant, preferably one who deals in property rental. A lot depends on where your holiday let is, how much of the year you rent it out for to even decide if it is a business, and what charges will and will not apply. There are a lot of changes happening in property rental atm.

At the moment he's just asked me to look up details. I found a few links and have fired those at him, it will be his choice if he uses an accountant. Many thanks everyone.

Not exactly claiming for back taxes but have you considered getting a refund of business rates using small business rate relief.
