I'd like some recommendations of fulfilment companies

We've been doing research and have contacted 7

None want to give open transparent pricing and want you to give details so they can contact you

We want to try out 2 of these companies + Amazon fulfilment

Just looking for opinions and recommendations

Thanks

Why do you see this as a problem? Fulfilment is pretty bespoke, each client is going to be different, different products requiring different packaging, number of orders, number of lines, goods-in requirements, software connections, etc, etc. Not something a simple online calculator can necessarily work out.

Well Amazon manage it!

Sorry OP I did a lot of research on this a few years back, most of them do actually have standard pricing that they will send you. Different houses charge more/less for different services so compare carefully - I ended up with a big spreadsheet just to get a straight answer!

thanks for the replies guys. i think something, even if it's just a sample case pricing would immensely help. amazon do give pricing, but me personally, i've struggled to work out using their calculator.

@marcinex james&james was one i was considering - not for any reason other than the fact they always popup in search results. there was one other - can't remember the name now! someone i know who runs a large ecommerce company uses... i saw them as a case study

but... as said in my original post... i was looking for recommendations...

has no one here used a fulfilment company??

That james & james is looking very professional with that live warehouse on website. Did you ask them for the prices ??

Have tried a few fulfilment companies in my time as part of my day job - however we settled with James & James.

By far the best in terms of their technology and customer service that I have used. Not the cheapest around, but can't fault them on anything else.

Avoid Amazon - not had great experiences.

Hi

We will also happily send you some prices, but as someone above mentioned (@Raw Rob), the costs for fulfilment will depend on a few factors. We have a quick form that we ask customers to fill out and return. This gives us the information required to ensure we send customers the correct prices

If you still need some prices, please PM me and i will happy to advise.

Is the problem you don't want them to contact you to discuss your requirement?

What is that a problem?

Have you tried providing a detailed specification and sending it to them?

They may just need to qualify who they are dealing with...

Cheers
