    Hi All

I've just been off the phone to a Northampton based Fulfilment company. They have rejected my business. I was planning to send 300+ items per month of envelope to small parcel size, worldwide. My channels are Ebay, Websites, Amazon and Etsy. This would allow me to research and implement new products and grow the business 'X' number of times and of course give the fulfilment company more business!

The reason given was that the volume was not large enough and some of the source channels would be difficult to integrate to their system (Website and Etsy).

I am very disappointed with this to say the least. But to me it gives others the opportunity to grab their business, as there must be profit in this?

Anyway Im still looking for a fulfilment company in or around Bedfordshire - it must be easy driving so I can visit and resupply stock easily etc!

    Cheers Mike

    Hi Mike,
We work with a few companies (fulfilment) which may ship only a couple of orders a month, as we work with a lot of start ups and small B2B and we all need to start somewhere. Its disappointing that the company in question have this attitude, as really should your orders stay that this level or increase exceptionally then they have lost the opportunity to work with you. We are based in North Wales and obviously out of your preferred area but should you not get any luck feel to get in touch.

    Hi Mike,

I'm sure that there are lots of fulfilment companies around that will work with you. We are based near Norwich and so may be further away that you want. However, with our system it means that you can track most things that you need online. More than happy to go through a demonstration on this.

Like anything in business, everytihng has to be right for the supplier and the customer. Better that they don't take your business now then tell you after 3 months of fulfilling your oders that they want you out.

I am more than happy to talk you through what we do, so if you are still looking for someone then just let me know.

    Thanks,

    Iain

300 is quite a lot to me! I ship around 150 a month for my own business and then I fulfill for a UK company from my German warehouse. They ship about 50 items a month with me in France and Germany but it is good business for me not to have to rely solely on my own stock for income.

I guess there will be someone out there, although being local as well is a tall order maybe?

    Hi Mike.
We are an owner managed Swindon based fulfilment and courier company. We are currently working with a large customer but also with some very small customers who we see as opportunities for us to grow together. We would welcome the chance to discuss how we could help you. Our order processing software has API links as standard for many of the eCommerce sites, like Ebay, & Amazon and we can generally be up and running and importing orders within an hour or so.
If you would like to discuss further, please get in touch.
    Regards
    Alan
