Hi all

I have just sent my first shipment into amazon and I am trailing it to see how it goes.
I was just wondering how you can list a product against different items on amazon when it is the amazon warehouse.
For example I have just sent in a item that has about 5 different listings on amazon which are all the same product but I have no idea how to get them linked to the product.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think you can do this if I am correct in thinking you want your product to be included in 3 or 4 different listings.

You send your shipment in against an ASIN in the Amazon catalogue and that is where your product will sell.

You can send in more stock against the other ASIN's if you want that item to be on that listing.

Seems silly that their is 3/4 same listings however if it is for exactly the same product..

Its against Amazon's policy to list a new product when it already exists in their catalogue, so in theory this situation should never happen :)

I hope they 'merge' their listings at some point, there's so many duplicates in there its off putting to customers.

Does anyone on here use fba then?
Just the parcel I booked in on Friday still hasn't been collected, is this normal?
Any advice from someone more experienced would be great.

We used FBA but simply couldn't get Amazon to collect - system didn't seem to work. So we organised our own pick up using a courier. We then logged into Seller Central and updated the status.

There's other guys in the business who know more about this than me if you need any further help. I should say we are not a retailer for the avoidance of doubt.

I think that you may find that you've booked it in with them but nor arranged collection. Amazon will not collect from you unless you use a partered carrier. (Which in the UK is UPS.) Even then you will still need to schedule the collection yourself.

We've never had this issue at all.

I think you want to list your product with Amazon right? Check these help amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200242990 , An small overview for how to upload product listings in bulk using a flat file instead of listing each item individually.
