Fulfillment in the UK

Hi,

we're a Dutch based company looking for a fulfillment centre in the UK.
We would like to offer faster and cheaper shipment to our customers.
After Brexit, our sales in the UK have declined and therefore looking for ways to improve it again.
I've already called with several fulfillment centers with warehouses in UK and got declined for having too low volume in orders.
Despite the fact that I've filled in their "request a quote" form honestly what my order quantity is now for the UK (about 25 a month). We've around 50 SKU's, that is retail and wholesale combined.
We sell D2C as well B2B. We've a partner in the Netherlands that sends all our EU and ROW orders. So it would be primarily focused on shipment to UK (Ireland and Scotland). Do you have any tips and advice is most welcome.

Those are very low volumes, so handling fees per package would have to be very high.

I'm fully aware of that. And a company deserves to earn ofcourse on the service they give.
The goal is eventually to grow to at least 10 orders per day (around 300-500 orders a month). In Dutch we say, which was first: the chicken or the egg? We would like to get more customers, but we also need faster and easier shipments first.

You can try AFM, they deal with small volumes.

Also there is a big exhibition called White Label expo in London Excel centre, mostly oriented to ecommerce. There are normally quite a few fulfilment companies exhibiting there, I am sure you can google the website and find them there.

I personally do not, but I have clients that are happy with them and have been using them for a few years now.

I can help. If it helps I am not the provider but I am the longest client. 6 years and still going. B2C and B2B orders are inline with their current day to day. Happy to chat and before I used them I ran the warehouse myself so I know the drill. Why you may ask, I want to continue using them as long as possible, what's good for them is good for me. Huboo operate on a micro warehouse basis, they have a single picker, packer, poster, keeping costs very low. They charge at a min orders of I believe 100/month, but under 50 SKUs they charge no shelf costs

Hi John Smit23, thank you for thinking along. I've contacted them before ;-). They said to me a minimum of 150 orders p/m. So that would not be the fit for us (right now).
