Free Cloud Database Software?

Can anyone suggest a type of cloud based database for storing product information?

We currently use Google Sheets (printed every time we make a change) with a dozen or so columns for barcodes, batch numbers, supplier contacts etc. But I keep thinking there must be a more aesthetically pleasing cloud based system, that allows anyone in the company to just search a barcode/SKU and find all the relevant safety information?

You can search in the sheet of course but it would be nice if, when you searched the SKU, you could just print off that card of information?

Ideally looking for something free/open source or with a 30 day trial, so we can make sure it fits before moving all of our data across.

You can write a Google Script around your sheet so people can do that sort of thing.

Otherwise there are dozens of database builders. All of which will take a bit of drag and drop type development and learning curve to get right.

Give Caspio.com or Tableau a look for something cheap and cheerful to get you started

Our preference would be Dynamics however. It’s a proper CRM that’s powerful enough to do what you’re after and you can get a trial license.

Based on the need you have mentioned, this sounds like something a script kiddy web developer could knock up in an afternoon. Simple SQL database with a web form front end would meet this need, but I'd think a bit further ahead and consider what else would also help my business and consider that at the same time.
