    Hi,

    Due to launch very soon is the new Welsh sports magazine "Inside Welsh Sport" dedicated to all things sports related within Wales, from grass roots level to the very top. With many of the top organisations/associations already on board and features written by journalists working within many areas of Welsh sport, the magazine will provide both an informative and interesting read to anyone with an interest in sporting activities within Wales.

    Distribution

    The magazine will be available FREE at outlets such as health centres, surgeries, hotels, garages, pubs and clubs across the whole of Wales with a starting estimated readership of 60,000 which will increase month by month, in addition the magazine will also be available as an online version.

    Release Date

    The first issue will be available from May 10th both on and offline

    Advertising Rates

    As a special offer for the opening issue all advertising will be FREE for May 10th - June 11th with no obligation to renew the advert for the next issue, if you do decide to renew then we can supply a rate card on request which you will find extremely competitive.

    Inside back cover
    Back cover

    Full page
    1/2 page
    1/4 page
    1/8 page

    If you could please state what size advertizing space you would like to reserve and I will inform you if it is available, for the launch issue it is basically a "first come first served basis".

    Basically the whole magazine will be available to advertise free in for the launch issue, all you need to state is what size adverting space you would like and I will inform you of what is available hence the "first come, first served" policy.

    Anybody who is advertising will get a copy of the magazine with the option of retaining the advert within Issue 2.

    There will be no contracts for the first issue however there will be for the 2nd, preference is for Welsh companies so unfortunately I will have to place preference on the Welsh companies but I will certainly take your advert on board

    Hiya ,
    I have a climbing wall which i supply to corporate events, schools and colleges as well as leisure clubs etc. We are based in Camarthenshire. We would be interested in advertising and seeing if it generated any interest initially. It cretianly sounds like an ideal piece of product placement to me.

    I think that is a totally unrealistic figure, it would mean that some magazines would have to be read by hundreds of people to achieve that average.

    I do not know your expected rates for advertisers but I would want to know print run and distribution figures if I was to advertise on a paying basis then compare your rates.

    Just a note because it may be an accident, your flag on your home page has gone off centre in Firefox and Google Chrome. Not tried IE because I do not use it. It is positioned to left because it seems to have a lot of spaces in it.

    Is there also a reason you are advertising cubecart even in your title. I know this is off topic, but thought I would mention it.

    where will it be availible?

    60 copies is very weak and will not work.

    In fact i will go on record and say 60 copies will not work and if it does i will streak at the Villa on the first sky covered game next season...:eek:

    Good idea in priniclple but if you were to approach me as a paid advertiser and say would you like to advertise in our magazine of 60 copies i would laugh out so loud i would wake austrilia.

    you are right 60 would not work, it is actually 1000 copies that will be printed then increasing each month

    Even 1000 is very weak.
    I would suggest aiming for between 15 and 20k as a minimum on a trial run and then double within 6 months.
    I still would not pay for a 1000 booklets.

    Probley cheaper to send a leaflet on its own.

    ok I take your comments on board,

    However even only 1000 will have a min readership of 20k as the magazine will be in hotels, pubs, health centres, libraries etc, I think it is very conservative to say that 20 people will at least glance the magazine per month
