I'm the author of a book called The Entrepreneurs Marketing Manual, which is aimed at providing practical and easy to follow advice on marketing strategy; particularly for small businesses, startups and entrepreneurs - or anyone with an interesting in expanding their marketing skills!

I'm not posting to try and sell anything, but purely as for this week only, i'm giving away the kindle version of it totally FREE to anyone who'd like a copy. It would be great, as well as joining our forum to promote your book, you could also stick around and provide some advice and feedback on marketing issues here.

It's one of the biggest pain points for many start ups and established SMEs, so I am sure they would be glad of your input and expertise.

What sort of background do you have in marketing for SME's or marketing for entrepreneurs ?

A perfectly valid question! Whilst most of my career has been spent in senior marketing roles for a number of big global tech brands and organisations, i've being doing consultancy and support with several dozen startups and smaller businesses over the last 4-5 years. I've also worked with a few incubator programmes for startups to aid their growth and have led various programmes on behalf of corporates in supporting SME's and startups.

I've been working with some ebook authors on Amazon and they had the strategy to start offering the book free of charge till they received downloads and ratings. Then they gradually increased price untill certain amount so it looked like all those ratings and downloads were made at the latest price ....

I published 4 simple recipe books on the Kindle platform 5 years ago and almost every month since then Amazon has been paying me commission. Buyers from the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Japan. I only did it for an exercise but it seems to work like receiving royalties and it buys a round at the bar once a month!
