Franchising vs licensing vs employment as a route to market

Hi all, looking for a little advice. I make hime decor items (plaques, postboxes, vintage light switches) & have managed to carve out a reasonably successful online business. However, I want to expand & am looking at franchising the sales side of the business thru craft markets, shows, garden centres etc. I’m trying to evaluate the best route - franchise, license or simply employment. Does anyone have any experience innthis area?

By franchise, do you mean find stockists?
No, I mean someone who is entrepreneurial similar to a sales agent, but would run stalls at craft fairs and county shows, build up clients in garden centres, hardware stores. Run pop up shops in retails centres etc. a little more hands on than a sales agent, more distributor/franchise

Would it not be cheaper, easier and less messy to crush the online space? And offer wholesale pricing to stockists?
