Hello all,

I'm starting a new venture which will be small, nothing huge... more for fun than anything else.

I will require a separate phone number to my other phone lines. I want it forwarded to a mobile ill keep around.

Can anyone recommend a provider for such a service?

Thanks

Hi,

The number of potential providers is huge. You may want to consider the following:
  • Do you just want calls diverted to your mobile?
  • Would you benefit from a Call Whisper telling you it is a business call and giving you the option to accept or reject the call. The caller will not know this and if rejected they can be sent to a business voice mail, other phone or call answering service?
  • Would you like to only receive calls during working hours and have out of hours calls go to voice mail etc?
  • Do you want to be able to call from this new number?
I can tailor a solution to meet your requirements. If you would like a chat PM or call me on 033 33 58 33 33.

All the best with the new venture.

If you're interested in something cheap then you can do it via Skype. Create a Skype address for your business (don't use your personal one). Buy one of their Skype Numbers (you can choose any where in the world). Next add the call forwarding service and point this to your own landline or mobile. I think I paid about £5 per month in total for it.
