Hi folks I not long ago started a job i business to business sales and got my first big sale today. The customer agreed to lease puchase and I verbally quoted them typical rates as ex VAT. A senior sales person told me to go back in to get them to sign an order for for the equipment and I did so. But a few hours later I realised that I forgot to write 'plus vat' on the bill.

The leasing company have accepted the proposal and I notified the customer but I'm worried about this discrepancy. Do we need to supply the goods ex VAT now even though the customer has not paid anything, not signed the lease agreement or received any goods?

They seem like reasonable people and did not even look at the order form when they signed it (although I left them a copy).

Am I being paranoid or should I be concerned? Thanks.....

Thanks it is just a 3 ply order form that you hand write on. I really think they should print '+VAT' on the form as it would save this happening. I'll maybe try just getting the girl in the office to type it up with +vat and send that out thanks....
