Flyers in Hotels

Hello.

I am hoping someone here may be able to help me understand how to get my flyers into hotel lobbies etc.?

I am looking into opening a children's play centre in Spain and will be targeting local hotels with my flyers asking if they will place them in their lobby area along with the other flyers etc..

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum had any experience of doing something similar and how the relationship between myself and the hotels work?

IE are there fees involved ?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Peter
If you are looking to advertise your services through hotels - it will be like any other commercial partnership. It's called third party marketing. I would arrange to meet with the relevant manager at the hotel and find out about what opportunities there might be to advertise your services and the costs involved.
You pay them and in return they will promote your services to their customers.
It might be better if you look at this more widely and look at a package - perhaps they could include something in their welcome pack in the rooms of guests who have children?
Make sure you do your research - if they are offering similar services - they may not want to promote services in competition with theirs.
It' s in their interest to keep guests at their hotels spending money on their services rather than other people's.

The hotels would not be offering similar services but yes I agree with them wanting to keep the customers to themselves etc....

With my business only costing small amounts of money i.e. 6-8 euro per child for 90 minutes I am wondering what sort of fee the hotels will be after?

Hi Peter,
Are you planning a full soft play centre or a more basic Creche? A play centre would surely operate at a higher level than a hotel's in-house child minding facility, in which case the conflict would be minimal. Are you already living in Spain?
