Fleet insurance help

Sorry if this is the wrong place....

I have 5 vans (and adding to this over next 6 months) plus 1 car. Max NCB 5 years on one of them, then 3, 2, 1 and a couple of new vehicles.

I have 6 separate policies.

How do I go about a fleet policy, the online websites don't really have a comparison for this type of things to make life easier and hopefully cheaper.

In my experience it's impossible to do this sort of thing online and you have to use an insurance broker who offers fleet policies. We used to use Arthur J Gallagher. Originally the policy was associated with the FSB (Federation of Small business), and we used to get the FSB discount with them.

Fleet and Commercial have been very good for me. When I first changed to fleet, they sort of added up all the NCB and used them to to creat one fleet record thingy from what I remember.

Good luck! I'e been advised to go for a multi vehicle policy rather than a fleet as the insurance companies don't want to help us. They will insure us all separate (multi-van) but not on 1 policy. madness

I can't answer this without sounding like I'm touting for business. A fleet insurance has many benefits, 1 monthly payment for all vehicles, open driving for ages 21+ and some insurers may allow for the odd younger driver. Insurers will take into consideration NCB so don't let that put you off trying

Coversure flat out lied to me when Aviva disallowed them from selling their policies- they told me that Aviva had stopped doing fleet, therefore they recommended I take the next cheapest policy at 2k extra. Not the case at all.

I don't do buisiness with liars, so I would highly recommend Fleet and Commercial instead.

I dont think anybody was lying I wrote this four years ago and Coversure have moved away from fleet insurance since then
