We have completed our prototype development for a metal product and are now at the stage of trying to find a UK manufacturer.

The item is shown here https://snipboard.io/b26Xhj.jpg

It is made in 1.2mm thick Zintec and has 6 upstands.

Apart from Googling, how would you suggest I go about identifying a manufacturer? Or maybe even a manufacturer who might want to get involved in a licencing arrangement.?

If your looking at numbers then the only place is china as will save you and potentially make you a fortune if you can shift the things. If not or you just want to test the market then find a few local steel fabricators close to you and get some quotes.

Had my prototypes done in China but really wanted to find a UK manufacturer.

Got in contact with 2 UK based companies and their price ex-works was about 6 times that from China. Even after shipping and duty etc the China price was still a fraction of the UK. Sad really.

Try Robert Bion in Reading as well, pretty sure they do standard pressing as well as perforation
