Feedback on UKBF members' services?

Before posting I started searching for this question - but since the forum has recently gone through a change of hands it's probably worth asking anyway.

Is there a mechanism to provide feedback on the service some UKBF professionals provide?

If not, why not?

If they are listed in the directory you can add feedback. This will become much more relevant in future updates to the forum.

    If you are talking about UKBF's services (as in what my company provides) then there is a dedicated support portal being put together. It's not finished yet, but you can access it here;

    If you are referring to another member of UKBF then right now I would request you avoid posting defamatory comments on the forum about a company as I'd have to delete them, no matter how accurate they may be. It just isn't the community spirit I want to create here, but as @fisicx mentioned you can leave comments on a members directory listing.

    If you need raise an alarm about a member on UKBF you can "report" them from their profile, and you can also send a message me and my colleagues through the link above.

    Going forward we're working on a way that members can rate the services provide by other members, and the quality of their comments/advice on the forum. Kudos if you will, but that needs a major version update of the software the forums is running on.

    I assume that being a full member is the only requirement to be listed in the directory as some listed show as 0 posts.

    The directory does confuse me as for instance if you look at the category "Audit", it says there are 6 listed whereas there are only 2. Same appears to apply to other categories in "Accounting"

    Yes, currently that is the only requirement but the current business directory will be removed in its current format by the end of the year. It will be replaced by using everyones membership profile.
    Not sure why the listing numbers don't stack up, but it is an external plugin which does have some issues.

    Many of the entries in the directory are from free members although I'm guessing that some used to paid members at one time.

    I am right at the end of the 44 entries for business finance which I presume is because I was the first one to put my details forward

    Thx Ozzy, yes I was referring to the quoted bit above, as a hypothetical.

    I see, although I myself am wary about rating systems on the Internet. In my experience they can be weaponised either to illegitimately prop one's business up or to shoot down competitors.
