Faxing Bahrain

I've got a couple of projects on in Bahrain and I have terrible trouble faxing the guys over there, they seem to fax me OK, but whenever I fax them the machine talks to theirs for long enough for me to see their ID then stops.

I have tried different fax software, different PCs and a fax machine, but they are all the same, anyone any ideas?

Some fax machines have the ability to transmit their data slower. Check the manual and see if this is an option - it's sometimes referred to as an international send mode.
