Facebook problem

I have a personal account on facebook and have created a page - i tried to use my personal account to suggest my business page to all my friends. The box came up, i clicked all the people and clicked send invitations - the box disappeared and the screen refreshed and the invitations havent been sent - Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

The "suggest to friends" ahsn't been working properly for a few weeks now. FB have made so many changes over the past few weeks it is really quite buggy at the mo.

Best I can suggest for now is to post a link to the page in your newsfeed or tag it using the @ function so that friends can click through if they want to.

Do you think it will be working again or are they doing away with it - shame really as its a greta way to start a business page i guess!

I've got the same with the fan page for my YouTube -It didn't send the invites to my friends and won't let me re-send the invite.

Sent a email to customer services but I'm not expecting anything to happen. I was kinda hoping the new page layouts will free it up.

Your suggest to friends - when did you try it? How long after you created the page?

I did it straight away and also on another one, I did find that it took some time after I clicked on the confirm button, it froze and took about 30 seconds and then said it was sent successfully or something along those lines.

When you repeat the process and click on suggest to friends again afte you have already clicked all your friends - they should go a light grey colour so they cannot be clicked on again does that happen or are they all still clickable?

If they are still clickable your suggest to friends hasnt work which is the problem im having

So you have a personal account - and from that you set up a page - then you clicked onto your page and said suggest to friends on the right hand side and a box came up?

Mine did that freezing and taking forever and said sent - but it hasnt sent anything..im so confused. Whats your page?

How many likes do you have on your page? I actually created a new page earlier to test and see if that would work and it doesnt!

Well this is strange! I wonder if you created a new page and tried to suggest it to friends you would have the same problem? It might be a new thing.

yeah i dont know why, perhaps Facebook have changed their format and its still updating ?

It doesnt work even when im admin on your page - suggest to friends is still on the right and i tried suggesting it to one of my friends and it didnt work either.

Are you using the latest version of FB? Perhaps there has been update that either you or I has missed?

Facebook fan pages have recently updated

AFAIK is the suggest to friends is a glitch - The fan page think's you've already sent these people a invite and won't allow you to send them again.

I can't find a resolve at the moment.

Stuart - No, sorry should of made clear the suggest to friends glitch isn't (as far as I'm aware) related to the Fan Page update. I was just pointing out in terms of your menu differences.

I've got the same issue with Gemma and have done since before Christmas (Although new people are joinging my Fan Page I just can't suggest to friends)

Thanks Newcott - Facebook pages page didnt seem to have an answer either - other than someone asked about it when they held a meeting 23rd feb!

But suggesting to friends is the easiest way to get people to join - no one wants to join a group of 3 people and it seems pointless writing stuff to send to 2 peoples newsfeeds even though my posts also go to twitter

My fan page suggests started working today - I'm able to suggest to all my facebook friends now.

Hopefully yours might have the same luck?

Am I the only one, who notices that Facebook is not working properly recently? Yesterday, it was impossible to upload a picture three or four times, considering the fact that the pictures were just the right size , not too big.
Sometimes the pages load too slow and many other minor problems, which probably predict a big one.
