facebook page name

hi, I'm in the process of setting up a Facebook page for my new business. The page is now there with the name of my business and will be linked with my domain name, but I cannot seem to get a Facebook webname (keeps saying web name unavailable) anything close to my business name.

Does it really matter? Do people search an FB name or usually get sent from web page or linked from other FB users?
Any thoughts gratefully received, thanks

I think generally speaking users that like your page will either Like you from your own site, or through other users/FB Ads, and unless your company name is something people will search for, it won't be found in that way through FB's search bar. I'd get it as close as you can, maybe try placing a "UK" at the end of it? Eg CokeUK.

You need 25 Likes before you can change the URL. So instead of having a long URL you can have something like www.fb.com/yourcompanyname

I would try to get your name as close to your company name as possible but you can still be found okay if you fill in all the about, basic info and contact details correctly for your page. That's where you can help your SEO generally too. Make use of all the listing features in Facebook to place as much information about your business online.
