Facebook Page missing Search Bar

I have started a facebook page for my website (which is my business).
However, for some reason I can't seem to get a search field or bar on it, when I am logged on. It's no where to be found.

Is this normal for a facebook for business page?

Not sure how I am supposed to find other pages.

Any ideas?

Thanks

thanks Stoker... that's not it, unfortunately. I wonder if it has anything to do with the settings I have chosen, but I can't seem to figure it out... in case it matters, I never did have a search bar... so it's not like I lost it.

Any one else have any ideas? much appreciated.

cheers

Under the admin options, add yourself as an administrator (i.e. use the email address that is associated with your personal facebook here).

Then log into facebook as yourself, then under the settings icon top right, select use facebook as "your page name"

You should now be able see the search bar and like other pages as your business page, and comment etc on the pages you've liked posts.

When you're logged in as a business, there are a lot of things you can't do - for example, you can't like other pages, you can't send messages to people etc. That's also why your search bar is missing.

You need to create a personal Facebook account, and then, when logged in under your business account, go to Edit Page at the top, then Manage Admin Roles, where you can make your personal account a manager for your page.

Finally, when logged in as your personal account, click on the little cog icon in the top-right, and you can choose Use Facebook As <your business page>.

I found it pretty confusing and not at all intuitive. Maybe I'm just getting old, scary thought.
