Hi

I started a facebook page last year, I advertise that we are on facebook outside my shop, have a like button on my website however I only have a small amount of fans and do not know whether I am using it to its full potential, any facebook wizards out there with advice or tips I would be so grateful

You need to engage your facebook fans regularly. Remember it is no more an option now! One of the best things you can do for it is by publishing/posting interesting and relevant Content. Because by regularly referencing relevant content, your fans will keep returning to your page.

There are many more ways to attract and get business from your facebook page but the above points are basic and shall followed by every FB page business owner regularly.

I am trying to engage more people and business's to my page to create more knowledge of who we are and what we can offer

Try doing facebook giveaways.. advertise that outside your shop.. also have facebook specific discounts.
