Hi,
I have a personal Facebook account but I'm now adding a business page. If you have one could you send me the link to your business page so I can have a look to see how other people set theirs up?

Also some advice on where to go to find out more information about the best way to set up and run a Facebook business page.

Cheers

One thing to remember when creating a Facebook page is that it needs to be maintained on a regular basis.
From a business perspective, I think it's not as effective as other online marketing tools, but it can help with link building.
A lot of businesses make the mistake of creating a page just because everybody's doing it, but if you don't think it's gonna have an impact on your business, I'd suggest you put your resources in other channels

Yes.. Facebook 'Pages'. I got exasperated with one and if you search about there's a fair amount of criticism about them. You might be better setting up a Facebook 'Group' instead. I believe from looking into this that Facebook are reluctant to properly support/develop 'Pages' because I think, they fear anyone with a personal profile will abandon it in favour of a Page instead. For example - with a 'Group' there is an 'app' that enables a vanity/easy-to-remember url (albeit a bit makeshift compared to other social sites).. for 'Pages' this is promised -offered even - but not actually implemented.

Remember that your Page (and Group, I think) are behind the Facebook facade - what I mean is that people have to have a Facebook profile themselves in order to enjoy your efforts. You'll know whether your target audiance are likely to be 'active' in there. Lots of people have personal pages and might as well not have (me for instance). Hope this helps.
