Hello fellow members, was wondering if anyone has experience exporting food/chocolate products containing milk from UK to EU country. I tried to sign up to TRACE NT platform, and when i enquired about my registration was told it was no longer useable by UK companies for creating CHED declarations and i should speak with APHA in uk. I then enquired with them about how to export products with Milk to EU country and was told the below which was not helpful at all as getting mixed messages. I now have 2 pallets that are going to be returned back to UK and not sure how to do this again for future. Any advice or direction would be appreciated.

For background info, i purchased some imported chocolate from a UK wholesaler, who imported it from Asian, who also didnt need no CHED of origin of milk declarations.

    Good Morning,

    Thank you for your email.

With regards to the GGED mentioned below, this looks to be a type of Common Health Entry Document similar to a CHED. These are typically dealt with by the importers/import agent in the receiving country and is not something that we can advise on or provide. Please direct this query to your importer.

Regarding TRACES NT, you are able to create an operator account but there is no longer the need to be validated as the importer acts as responsible for consignment. The use of TRACES now is only really for companies with approvals so the BCP can check they have the correct approvals for importing into the EU.
    Kind Regards,"
