Hello

I have a customer that wants to trial my prooducts in the states. This is all being chatted about as its the first time I have exported and first time they have imported.

I was going to send over a small order by courier to see how things go but maybe I would be better sending say 100kg on a pallet.

Im really not sure about how to best go about getting this done in the best way for myself and my customer.

Has anyone a steer on this please

Thanks

Try and get a FedEx account - the discount generally gets better as the weight gets larger. They will also ship the sample for next day delivery to the US.

You will also need to get a prior notification number with the FDA for any shipments into the US. This is relatively easy and you just put it on the airway bill and commercial invoice.

I wouldn't advise sending on a pallet as you will have to pay for the dimensional weight of a pallet.
