As others have said, none of the above - all of those are non-issues for me.

There is another thread on here suggesting that payment cards are dead; that smartphone will take over

I wouldn't say physical cards are dead but I do think they're in terminal decline; I think the OP has missed the boat on this one.

A staggering 94.6% of in-store payments under £100 were contactless last year - you don't have to be Einstein to see that the logical progression will be more and more people using their digital wallets rather than physical wallets to tap the 'card' reader.

Interestingly it turns out my 78 year old mum using her iPhone to buy stuff at the garden centre is much more common than I thought - apparently the fastest take-up in using contactless is with the over-65s.

Well I am not quite 78 but going on 70 and this year I have to say after some hysterical laughter from my sons and their wives in a restaurant back in January, whilst I started rummaging around in the wallet for my credit card I have since been converted to using the Apple phone and never looked back.

And interestingly whilst sitting in the pub at the weekend (perhaps rather sadly) watching people pay for their food at the bar our topic of conversation centred around the fact not one single person had used a credit card to pay.

I even just payed for a round of 99s from the ice cream van using said phone although have to admit with the sun shinning on the screen did make it a little difficult much to the amusement of the neighbours all queuing up behind me 😁
