Just wanted to share our experience with RMS, We cannot recommend their services though as we had gone through a very painful dealings with them.

Update: 18 May 2017 0943 hours

BAD SERVICE Card Payment Provider Retail Merchant Service. "Manager" called just now trying to play safe with their shortcomings, again, another classic "customer service" trick, you expect the manager to "LISTEN" or at least be "PREPARED" when they called you, customers want solutions not history and diversions and most of all EXCUSES. This company wanted to look "GOOD" online and now throwing "COMPENSATION" of waiving the cancellation fee and other fees we were not aware before. We lost £400 yesterday for waiting the WHOLE DAY and not being able to work (we could show the booking records) and at around 1502 hours, that guy who CLAIMED had been doing the same job for two years asked us what time we closed? And the guy who called today kept on stressing that the machine they delivered at 1801 yesterday was sent via "A SPECIAL COURIER". Who cares if it was even VERY VERY EXTREMELY SUPER SPECIAL COURIER? The fact that the guy didn't tell us the truth, the fact that there was only one machine instead of two, THE FACT THAT WE DID NOT GO OUT AND LOST OUR WHOLE DAY BECAUSE WE NEED TO BE HERE AS THE COURIER WILL HAVE A SWAP OF THE OLD MACHINES, swap never happened. -IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE!

Jan 25 2017 - the customer service guy wanted us to wait for the whole day tomorrow from 0900 to 1700 for a replacement card machine. I requested if he could give me either morning or afternoon delivery as waiting for one day was a waste of valuable time.

Another bad experience | 17 May 2017 | 1502 hours

Kept us waiting for the machines, whole day! Received a call and staff was asking what time we closed. They let us waited till 9AM, we didn't go anywhere because we were waiting for the delivery, we have to be here as they will need to get the machines. Irresponsible people from Retail Merchant Services. We will be moving to another supplier, and when we try to cancel, we were told we have to pay a cancellation fee. DO NOT EVER GET THE SERVICE OF THESE PEOPLE. They just wanted to look good online.

Failed to call back, this is after we spoke to their staff. We insisted to have the e-mail because we have a feeling nothing will be done - we were right. Prior conversation with Emily showed lack of interest and initiative, she even wanted us to call back again instead of offering a call back. When we mentioned about the extra card machine, she denied it's theirs, we knew it's their property because since we started, we were with them, didn't even bother to offer a pre-paid return envelope. It's a pain to be in this company, we used to have O2 sim, came to the point that network is bad, imagine you have an international client and you cannot get a network during card processing and you had to let go of the client and chasing them is not easy. When we left a review in Truspilot, it was shared in Twitter then in few minutes, Retail Merchant Services blocked us. The customer service manager was informed in advanced through Sarah that he should be prepared when he called us because we don't want to repeat what we had been telling them previously, Greg came un-prepared. It could've been a better experience if he was aware of what he's going to do and straightaway discussed the solutions, he 's not even aware of all the agenda, worst, he had tried to dodged us by going through technicalities. They are concern in their good reviews only. There was a breach of communication and management between the people behind the company as Emily works on her way and Greg doesn't have a control of what Emily was doing and we don't know if Sarah clearly communicated to Greg that he should be prepared before calling us. After we left a review, all of a sudden, the phone rang, how is that as a co-incidence? CONCLUSION OF THE REVIEW: There are many card machine providers out there, do your investigations and clearly check the service delivery of each company. With our bad experience with this company, WE WILL NOT AND CANNOT RECOMMEND in all honesty. We'd like you to be spared in our very bad experiences.

Sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience with them. There are plenty of good merchant providers to choose from.

You could try asking your bank to see if they offer PDQ Machines. Though sometimes banks can be a bit more expensive, from what I've seen they normally are.

Another possibility is contacting WorldPay, @TotalWebSolutions or Bainzee above to see what they can do for you!
