Excel Tutorials

Hi All,

As some of you know I have neen looking for subjects for Excel tutorials on my site (see my posting "Excel Tutorials - Subject suggestions wanted").

I have now added three tutorials. This is my first attempt at tutorials so your open and honest opinions would be more than welcome. I am not a writer by nature and I am still finding my "style" if you know what i mean.

The first tutorial is on relative and absolute cell referencing which can be found here.

The second is some hints and tips on the use of conditional formatting and that can be found here.

Finally I have a tutorial on the VLOOKUP function and that one is here.

Excellent start, sometimes the basics stump us all. Good tutorial on conditional formatting, didn't know that one

Are you intending to do some Access tutorials?

Thanks, glad you found them to be of use.

Access will follow, but at the moment I am concentrating on pushing my Excel services.

I have ideas for about 20 more tutorials for Excel which follow soon and maybe an introductory course on VBA.

I should then move on to Access

Hi there, nice start.

Maybe a list of shortcuts and ideas to speed up workflow would be useful. Or common pitfals in Excel to avoid.
