Hi,

My boss has asked me to find an Excel 2007 training course for him. I have found quite a few, but with training you never know what you get until there.
I am just wondering if anybody could advice a good course.
Doesn't have to be cheap, but provide good value for money.

Thanks for help

Might be best to write a list of what he actually wants to use Excel for and then send it round training places to see if they can make a training program to match. The problem with generic training programs is that half of it might be stuff that has nothing to do with what you need or stuff you already know.

If he just wants to get used to the new ribbon interface then just playing around with it is probably best. It's a bit strange to start with but after a while you realise that it works quite well and is quite easy to use.

Craig HelpTrainingCourses

Hi

Just seen your Thread and noticed you need some Excel training. I run a website called www.helptrainingcourses.com Basically we advertise training courses across the country on behalf of training providers and have a unique Last Minute Training Deals area where courses get reduced in price as the course date gets closer. Take a look there are lots of Excel Courses to choose from as well as other types of training.

Hope this helps

Hi Suntree

Have you found a course as yet as I've only just seen this post. We can provide Excel training either on a scheduled course at one of our venues (where abouts are you?), or as a 121 at your premises which may be more appropriate for your boss. Do you know what level he is at. The good thing with a 121 is we can focus on individual needs.

See courses http://www.fosvatraining.co.uk/courses/software.asp

Our trainers are ECDL/NVQ or Microsoft certified. We also do a matchprice guarantee on open courses if you can find a like for like course in the same county and also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. USB disk is supplied with your exercises and also a certificate and PDF workbook/manual.

Let me know if you need any further information. You can call me on 01252 758575.

regards

Anne
