Hi All,
I'm having trouble with a Formula in Excel.
I have different pricing bands that I want the formula to look at, then include a set figure, then check again for additional amounts and add.
E.G
If I want to work out how much to charge a customer for 46.
I need the formula to be able to say, ok this fits BAND D at 40 and then needs to add the cost of the additional 6.
Example
Example Amounts:
Band A was 10 at £10..........Extra A £1
Band B was 20 at £20..........Extra B 90p
Band C was 30 at £30..........Extra C 80p
Band D was 40 at £40..........Extra D 70p
so for 46.
It would need to see that it is BAND D, plus add that to 70px6 which would give:£44.20
Of course dependant on the original number, it would need to both identify which band to charge and then which Extra Band to multiply by anything over that band.
I'm tearing my hair out here.
Cheers
Jamie
