They are partners with First Data - I used to work with someone from eWay when it came to card terminals.

It wasn't that active of a business either, and unless you're a business with a huge turnover, I wouldn't recommend using First Data when there is so many other simpler, easier options.

eWay are primarily an Australian company but do have a base here. I agree the number of reviews is strangely low. You can get a narrow overview of their operation via linkedin but sorry no experience of them, except that one of their sales reps. contacted me on Friday

Hello All,

I work with eWAY from our Edinburgh office. We don't delete posts, We don't have time for that (I'm not sure if you even can on those sites?), That being said we have never actively pushed customers to add reviews either (Probably we should?) - We did Exhibit near Trust Pilot recently at the eCommerce EXPO, Maybe we should have spent more time with them!

We did originate in Australia and have been around for 15 Years with 14,000 Clients across various regions, mostly SME with some large and Brand - We link with 22+ Merchant Banks, and service from UK (We have Teams in UK, CA, AU and NZ).

We have a PCI Compliant on-site Products as well as off-site Products, Including a responsive Hosted Page (Which recently was Integrated with EKM Power Shop). It optimizes for the screen size > Less drop off.

If you do have any specific questions, I'll answer what I can.

I've been recommended eWay by my book keeper as we use xero book keeping software, and it links to that.

I was about to join Payment sense following a conversation with them yesterday, but then looked at the Google reviews and subsequently changed my mind. (Awful reviews)

Looking for reviews on eWay too, and you would think it doesn't exist! Why does no one write any reviews for them? Do they have any real customers?
