Event Booking Software recommendations needed- CVENT drives me mad !

I have been using CVENT - I find it clumsy and not user friendly and the UI is dated.
Can you recommend others. Eventbrite is the obvious option- but has anyone used Eventzilla ?

I've never heard of Eventzilla, but I have used Eventbrite and that was excellent. Used it for a friends business group for meetings and marketing events. It worked really well.

Why not add something to your website? CMS/blogging platforms all have good event plugins.

I've worked with a system called Administrate http://www.getadministrate.com

It was originally built for training companies, but may/may not fit your niche well. It is an incredible bit of software that does events, CRM, document management - the feature set is amazing.

What sort of events and website do you run? I use something called EventEspresso which is a wordpress plugin for a client that has about 10 events week. We find that to be excellent.

I use something called BookThatApp for a client that has a shopify site. That's not quite as flexible as I would like it to be but it does the job.

Oh and we also use eventbrite for another customer, but it's so expensive and clunky. I'd change it if I could.

EE for WP is very good, as is JEvents for Joomla!

ooh. thank you for your feedback ! we are a training company in the hospitality sector. SO we run about 20 courses a year for 10 people approx. but we also run one big conference for about 130 people annually.
