 So we registered on esources.co.uk and signed up for 12 months paying £25/m to promote our new business (wholesale of electronics). We didn't hear anything from them for a week, then emailed them TWICE over 3 days to ask what was going on.

After answering a few verification questions, a couple of weeks later, they came back and said, "We can't give you the TradePass verification because we had not complied with their terms and conditions", giving reference to point 4.1 which states:
"Each User who has filled out an on-line registration form on the Site by giving its information (such as name, address, telephone and fax number, email address, details of its business, etc.) is a registered user of eSources.co.uk (a "Registered User"). eSources.co.uk will establish an account ("Account") for each Registered User and each Registered User will be assigned a user alias ("Member ID") and password ("Password") for log-in access to its own Account."

That does not explain anything!

We want to take legal action against esources because of lost time and business due to this.

There website clearly states that the TradePass approval takes approximately 5 business days, but it was me who had to twice chase them up after a week, and then wait a further 2 weeks for a decision, only to hear they will not give my account TradePass. And even now, they haven't told me exactly what we have done that doesn't comply with the T&C.

If anybody is considering joining esources, I would strongly discourage you. Their customer service is a disgrace, and they do not have any kind of telephone support, and emails take days to answer.

We've paid £50 (2 x £25) for a membership that has not even started yet. We signed up on the basis that the approval process would take 5 working days to complete. It's been over a month now, and we're still waiting to hear why we have been declined. The fact that they haven't given a reason for declining us is completely unprofessional.

Surely we have a legal right to know why we can't be listed on their website?
