Just read the thread and whilst separating yourself from your existing partner seems to be going well, I would question the wisdom of then becoming a silent partner with someone else.
You could be starting the whole situation up again but be in a much worse position. I would think long and hard regarding this, and if you do proceed, do not do so as a partner.
