Hi guys I'm new around here and I've recently saved up a little money and I want to exploit my entrepreneurial side and do something great!

So all I am asking is for you guys to tell me your success stories, what company you initially started with. The progression rate of the company and where you are at now.

I am looking for tips and looking for the ideal sector/industry to work within.

So go ahead if you have 5 minutes tell us all!

P.s. I am debating setting up my own recruitment agency. This will be from home but I will be using the James Caan technique of renting out a location in a big City - Leicester is closest to me. But meet the clients/Applicants in fancy restaurants/cafe's. Have any of you guys hit the Recruitment agency side of business,
if so Tell us how you got on!

Thanks guys!:)

There are numerous things to think of when starting a business.
What is your experience at recruiting.
How are you going to market your services
Do you have references or testimonials to support your service
If you rent an office will you need staff such as a receptionist
Renting might be something for down the road as you will need funds to set up an office and staff, it won't look professional if you are just there on your own. Especially if the phone rings when you are interviewing a client and you are the one having to answer it. Check out this free info on starting up a business. I would be happy to answer your questions.

Why recruitment?! Every one is doing it! lol

James Caan negotiated a small area to "purchase" in-effect a prestigious mailing address. These days you cannot do this and many companies have sky high prices for good mailing addresses.

Put down the James Caan biography!!

You cannot go meet your clients at a cafe. I mean cafes and coffee houses are still popular and convenient places to meet, however, for the first meeting people expect more. Furthermore, they are likely to realise that you are only purchasing a mailing address (not that you would specifically claim you had a huge HQ) then decide to go with an established place with a retail front premises.
