End Of Tenancy Cleaning Services help to expand

Hi, we are a small professional cleaning company with full equipment and fully trained and insured staff.
We mainly do End of Tenancy Cleaning Services trough estate agencies, commercial and domestic cleaning, after builders cleaning, 24h a day, 7 days per week.
There is a lot of competition in the market, and those days advertising does not generate much business in this field.
The best catch to approach new customers is recommendation.
We pay 10% back from all bookings on going from all the jobs done and i promise you the jobs will be satisfactory. We had many inventory clerks companies doing the check out after and they were all satisfied.
Many estate agencies struggle to have a reliable cleaning company, can you help with some recommendations?
our website is www(dot)endtenancycleaning(dot)com

I run a small cleaning company in the North East and I understand what you're saying about advertising. There is that much competition now, that its hard to get noticed. Especially on the internet.

Word of mouth is (and always has been in my opinion) the strongest advertising campaign going.

Have you tried networking at property investor/landlord networking events in your local area ? this is a good way to meet new landlords, hand out details etc.

Also, try offering an incentive to the current letting and estate agents you use. Offer them a commission for every new client they introduce.

It is a very difficult field at the moment though I must admit.

TradeSmart, i will look into networking investor/landlord networking events.Thank you for this advice.
We do pay commission, we start this business 2 years ago and was very successful up until this year, between 4 to 6 jobs per day. We did good until they got more companies like us on their books. My mistake was not being greedy and source extra work, but i wanted to maintain and supervise all the jobs and staff to provide the best quality.
Just ordered flyers and presentation folders to get on cold calling. Hope we will kick off again, as we manage to keep the cheapest prices in the market.

Also another little trick I picked up a few weeks back was advertising in the local church magazines. It was suggested to me by granddad - Not sure if you do regular cleaning contracts, but you could offer one off deep clean house cleaning.

The response was unbelievable and I will be advertising again in their next issues.

Also, the part where you mention about inventory clerks, have you considered doing inventories yourself and charging for it ? you don't need any formal qualifications (not that I am aware) just the software to produce the reports. I know its not cleaning, but its an extra revenue stream and you could offer that in a package deal for landlords and agents.

Hi TradeSmart, inventory clerks is something i thought about.again, estate agencies already has around 3 companies for inventory they already using. but we won`t know if works until we try. will definitely give it a try.
domestic cleaning is not something we focus but it may help. our cleaners prefers to have an end of tenancy cleaning as is more money and they do not have to travel a lot for 3 hours of work paid hourly.
