Hi Moosegoose.

Yes - very simple is to purchase an opt-in email list of your target market. It just so happens though that Pubs and Clubs are really poor for third party opt-in as they are not office based etc.

You maybe better off utilising a managed service of a company who specialises in Leisure marketing but I suspect that the min order woudl be severe and may not be good fit since location criteria is small

Call me if you need advice

what about trying something along the lines of old fashioned post :)
letters flyers or just a well laid out postcard the addresses are readily available online etc as they are public houses that way you can keep a tight control on your costs and make sure that the landlords are the first to see what you have on offer :)

norfolk
Well i made a template and just searched online and found 5 pubs and clubs. Had two orders already, fist pub has saved 45k and the 2nd £30K. the service is for viasat pub football via a satellite dish. which saves landlords thousands of pounds compared to s*y. and they can watch all premier league games including 3pm ko. As i only do installations in norwich and norfolk it may be best to email customers my self. ps sorry for the shameless plug.

Dont bother wasting your time just sending emails alone, it doesnt work!

The best way is to hit the phones! Speak to the person who deals with and collect their email address to forward them the details!.

Its just lazy, ive tried it before just sending emails from lists and the response was poor.

Moose - good advice on here from good users.

Hit the phones would be my advice too. You could email them and make a telephone follow-up however for your target audience, I think a call would be a better approach.

We can help with the data should you need it. Got a great up to date regional database for each part of the UK so give me a call should you need assistance.

For this industry, I would also recommend that you be more direct, using phones or even face-to-face marketing.

It would be advisable that you have something like a business blog in place, so that you can give the pubs a call, explain that you think you can save them money and if they want to find out more, you can either send them some information in the post, call round to see them or say that they can view everything online.
