Email campaign advice

I’m looking to test an email campaign to about 300 existing customers whose email addresses I have already.

Currently, I use Thunderbird for normal work, but it won’t handle bulk emails.

The email campaign is a ‘one-off’ test to see if it works, so I’d like to use a bulk email provider with a free option. Ideally, it would provide some basic analytics – like how many emails are opened – even with the free version.

It looks like Mailchimp or Sendinblue could do the job but I’d welcome any suggestions/cautions.

Thanks

I would do a test run of your e-mail through MailTester to check the spam score of the message your sending, Mail Chimp and other providers are all good for bulk sending just ensure you have them setup correctly with SPF, DKIM and other e-mail authentication.
