Editing Word templates

Hi

Does anyone know how or if a MS Word Template can be edited? See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LRiIQ3aOaq

The top element is not in the header, and I cannot find anything about the side element, it is almost like they are some form of background images?

Open the template through the Word open menu or double click on it in File Explorer. Word will open it as a .dotx file allowing you to amend it and save it.
