Ecommerce Training

I run a successful website already but know nothing about programming or how to write a website. I would like to go on a training course on the technical aspects to find out a bit more.

I can't find anything locally - all the internet cafes that had training courses attached have closed down, and there's nothing on the adult education course list. I got a leaflet through my door today from Skills Train who offer an Ecommerce course as well as one in website design.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this company and the training it offers?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions? It needs to be a beginner's course.

your local institute should offer something, part-time, or even full time. There is also online training, if you type in Learn web design, or learn HTML or LEarn website coding into Google.

Lynda.com have some good tutorial available.

Loads of on line courses here for £99 subscription per year and you can access over 575 of them with no limits.

Check out your local Business Link.
Most of the training/seminars/courses they promote are delivered by local providers.
They'll have contacts for anyone that wants more than a one hour overview and a free coffee.

The East Midlands is good for this, although it can vary from region to region.
