Hi everyone

I am new here. I have just started up my own business selling 100% natural, eco friendly, plant based cleaning products. I have products for multi surfaces, degreaser, disinfectant, hand gel.. the lot..

You can have a look at the science behind these cleaners, and there's also a link to my online shop:
google 'biovorm'

Do you think there is a market for this type of cleaner, for both housekeeping use and business use? I think the products are really great, they work just as well as the normal chemical ridden cleaners, except they are completely safe.

Anyone know a good way to market this product?

Thanks for your time,
Jamie

Looks like a good product you have. I can't see a problem with an eco friendly cleaning product, there is a market for these products already. I think the main issue is the sale price of them, they're usually twice the price as better known brands and it's often cheaper and easier to slap a layer of bleach around the place. Saying that, people are becoming much more aware of such issues and show concern about the chemicals in cleaning products.

Looks pretty good.
There is a big market for these products as so many ppl are concerned about the eco damage normal cleaners do & the health issues involved.

The one thing I couldnt find on your site is any info on animal testing.
A very large proportion of the customers buying eco cleaners are animal lovers, pet owners, vegetarians, vegans etc

If you can genuinley cover these markets then you can increase your biz ina big way

Thanks for the replies guys.

The store is getting a decent amount of hits, I'm just lacking buyers at the moment. I think td2011 is right the majority of people will just pick up the cheapest bleach off the supermarket shelves and slap it around the house without even thinking about what they're doing to sensitive surfaces.. and sensitive skin that comes into contact with such cleaners.

I'm looking into selling bundles, for example 6 x 750ml bottles including multi purpose cleaner, degreaser, disinfectant, window cleaner and possibly my stainless steel cleaner and polish. Could make a good gift for Christmas to the houseproud mum?

Gibby you are right I don't mention animal testing on the site, and i will definetely add this information today, thanks for the advice!

Hi

i would be interested in your eco products for my cleaning business. I offer a choice to my customers - eco or standard, find offices go for standard and home owners go fo whatever cleans better but like the eco products more due to being safer around kids pets etc.

Could i have some product pics/details/prices/data sheets emailed to me? Do eco products need data sheets come to think of it?

I use northern environmental for eco products currently.

Just noticed your products come from nuts etc i have a nut allergy would this affect me if i sprayed it on myself or on a surface, touched it and inadvertently had fingers in my mouth which i tend to do lol.

Many Thanks
Lisa

I run a cleaning company in Nottingham and my staff only use Method products. They're at the top end of the cost scale, but are great little products.

If you search 'Method products' and have a look at the way they market their products, you could use that as inspiration for your own idea. I cannot fault their marketing techniques, really customer friendly and brightens up the idea of cleaning.

Hope it helps.
