For a while now i've been trying to find a supplier of IT equipment for my repair business to offer products online also (new and second user).

I come across various suppliers but when comparing there prices to the sellers on ebay it's actually cheaper to just buy on ebay (no idea where these guys are getting there stock, can't be legal for the prices they are charging? ?). Not sure if maybe the IT equipment is coming from overseas possibly?

Anyone else finding this in there industry?

Hi Tigris, Why not think of this as an opportunity vs competition, I have a couple of retailers that we work with on eBay using our platform who have shut their websites due to the volume of sales they can do through marketplaces.

Products would most likely be imported in but nothing illegal about that and surprisingly easy. Why not join them and a select number of SKU/Products that they're selling and import them? Our platform is perfect for this, if you wanted a demo to show you the potential would be more than happy, our first customer we took from £0 to £1.8 million in under 12 months on eBay.

Feel free to drop me a DM and let me show you how much these guys are selling and how you can beat them.

    Tim.

I'm probably looking in the wrong places. When I look at importing IT equipment the companies all seem to be behind a paywall on the listing website.

I'm always very careful what I buy from ebay, you tend to get what you pay for in terms of both quality and service. It's not always about price, people sill buy food from M & S even though Alid and Lidl are cheaper.

I had a few suppliers from years ago for this sort of thing. I remember their criteria was strict. Something like £9k opening order and brick and mortar requirement. I will try and dig them up. Never made an account with them. Profit margins are terrible on consumer electronics. Pretty sure you can't just Google search them.
