It is to protect their right to rectify in the event of any errors i.e. invoice is at £100.00 when it should have been £1000.00. It has become standard practice and is not entirely a legal requirement to put E&OE on invoices because contract law covers the doctrine of mistake, genuine ones!

Since when did anyone understand the law?! A lawyer is your interpreter!
