Would any kind sould here be able to let me know how to set up two file filters in duplicator standard edition please?

I want to have one backup that only backs up my media folder and one that backs up everything but the media folder.

The media hardly every changes so it slows down regular backups a lot. Not sure how to do it without risking missing files.

This is all presuming duplicator can do multiple restores without wiping the directories first??

Have you got the premium version?

In any case, this is a bad way to do backups. Much better to use the tools in your cPanel.

Or better still, use a service like VaultPress

Thanks fisicx, i was just wondering, I'll have a look at vault press.

The nice thing about vaultpress is it only does a backup on the changes. Which means it's quick and light.

I've never once had to restore from a backup. Hosting is now very reliable and WP much more stable. Which means things just don't break anymore.

I've been bitten a couple of times, enough that i never go near WP updates without a full backup just before.

Thanks., I'm on the updated version already and good to see that Wordfence blocks the attacks mentioned as well.
