Duplicate Content

I've actually spoken with the client about this and the client isn't happy about the comments you've made on this forum. He is however happy with the work I've done on his behalf and has asked if I wanted more money for which I stated no thank you, and he continued to pay the £500.

He is happy that each page isn't duplicate content and is happy with the work put in to the project.

He came round this evening for a cup of tea to discuss the last bits of the website.

PS: He wouldn't care if it was all duplicate content as he is only interested in having a website and that leads were apparently just a bonus. Just bragging rights to his friends.

Oh dear.

I only have one thing to say having been round the block a few times.

OP...you are what we refer to as a timewaster. Your feeble excuse for not backing up your ludicrous statements is so obviously a fabrication as I suspect is the entire topic.

Reply is futile. Consider yourself ignored.

I am OUT.

Short answer is no. Use something like this Amazon product - look to the right of the product picture and there's a drop down for the size. Do the same for the list of vehicles applications and a separate list for the tuning stages (or, if appropriate, multiple pictures as under the size drop down). I think it can be done in CSS easily, so G still sees the vehicle list.

Thanks for the reply and by the looks of the way this thread went, totally lost in the abyss lol

I've been doing this recently, I have stage 1, 2 & 3 as drop downs but the vehicle drop down wouldn't work with the flow of the site.

The irony of it is my competitions descriptions are so generic and lack any inspiration this approach has seen the majority of my content indexed and am showing in page 1 on many of the long tail's I've checked. Competition nowhere to be seen.

I think I'll keep working this way as google doesn't seem to disturbed by my internal similarities. If I check and find the competition has stepped up I might change my approach but because I'm in a obscure market and righting my own descs it seems to work at the moment.

Thanks for the reply

It was in fact my father that got this client for me, it was one of his friends. And this friend is just interested in appearing on page one of google because "it's cool" even when I speak to my father he asks so when I type in xyz he will appear there. His response was like "oh coool"

To be honest, the website is just a perk for them.

Duplicate content on a site is not grounds for action on that site unless it appears that the intent of the duplicate content is to be deceptive and manipulate search engine results.

Duplicate internal or external? I was under the impression that external dupes just diluted the PR of all the sites using it and only benefits the originator/page with the highest PR using it?
