Duplicate Content - I'm confused?

On the issue of Duplicate Content - I'm confused?
(I may also be making this more complicated than it is :redface: )

I have a blog hosted at www.my domain.co.uk/blog if I were to move it to www.my new domain.co.uk and completely remove the original url would this be classed as duplicate content?

Nope. It is advisable to use a 301 redirect to the new domain, then big G will stop looking at old domain.

No - and if you set up a 301 redirect on the old domain it simply tells Google the content has moved to the new location.

A 301 permanent redirect will also help pass on the SEO benefit. Best solution for your problem!
