Without sounding too harsh you shouldn't design a website for professional use using Dreamweaver or any other WYSIWYG

We always use dreamweaver for developing websites, the design view editor is abit of a pain if your not familiar with code as it puts in random Paragraphs and breaks.

We hand code the stylesheets and html in the code view and watch it build in the design view in my opinion make life much easier.

Using the layers and tables is abit messy so it will be really good to know some code.

Dreamweaver is also really handy for PHP especially if your just starting out, I would certainly dissagree that dreamweaver is bad for building sites.
