I would have to agree with the comments above, you'd be missing a trick if you didn't use both sides. You could put a enquiry form on the back, have it postcard size and leave a space for a stamp, a direct call of action.

The only downside to that being they then don't have anything to remind them of your company until you get back to them, but seeing as something like 90% of all leaflets get thrown straight into the bin, it could prove rather beneficial.

That is fine - but make both sides different...

one which came with an Amazon order today had something along the lines of:
your free offer... on one side
and then the offer on the other

both sides different but both with a powerful message - though I tend to chuck all that stuff straight into the bin ;)

yes i always avoid writing any marketing hype that has that anchored in response of buy now for a limited time only blah blah as soon as i read any hype like that it to only ends up in one place! Nothing is ever really free there always seems to be a catch! we have all seen it so often before free offer then when it comes down to it, it works out only 10 grand for delivery- Hello Vistaprint! (not really free then is it as stated!)

I think your double sided leaflet should show some "before" and "after" pictures to showcase the work that you do. On one side show a dense tree canopy near a house and how dark it makes it (have the lights on to emphasize that), then the the "after" shot with a crown thin to let far more light through the tree into the house. Better be quick though as the leaves are ready to drop soon and the nights are drawing in :D

I agree with most of comments here that having the same content on both sides is a missed opportunity as you can have 2 marketing opportunities. When distributing leaflets, all clients that I had that used 2 sided leaflets used the opportunity to provide 2 different marketing opportunies.

i am just thinking people including me just glance at there 'junk' mail and if it doesn't interest them at first glance most won't bother looking on the other side- i guess i just need to think of a whole new idea just as good as the existing side- the thing is i put everything i have that sells my services on that one side so i want them to see that first and they will whichever way it lands. I guess i need to just think of even better content to put on the other side, what Kernowman suggests above would be a good one for the next print but i just want to get a load out for now, been designing it for months!
