Just in case any of you newbies start screaming at your marketing managers, It has been a hot weekend. The following was the result.

The sun came out and as soon as it hit 1pm on friday "nearly" every one hit the beer gardens and BBQ's.
Kids went out till late evening all week end.

Consequences
Hardly anyone was surfing the net.

Dont panic and start making changes to your website thinking there is some thing wrong.
Do try radio advertising. increase evening ppc.
Summer is good but when sun is out who wants to stay in.

It is a pay off! On a really good weekend indoor retail (malls, websites) do badly, and outdoor stuff, like tourism does well.

Fortunately I have it, but I don't smoke in my car which means me sitting in some services stop in the searing heat in a suit puffing my way to emphysema and getting sun stroke at the same time. I don't handle the heat well!

For the first time this year we had to sleep with just a duvet cover on us because it was so warm last night. Although come 3am I was reaching for the duvet again when it turned cold.

I need one of those daft looking aluminium foil screens you put on the inside of your windscreen to keep the heat off, my steering wheel is becoming like a george foreman.

Yes unfortunately I was presented with evidence that there were some people abusing it and spending a few hours a week on youtube using search-terms like 'sexy woman dancing' and 'celine dion greatest hits' and we don't want to be associated with celine dion.
